Community Foundations across the UK are supporting this new website that showcases charities in the local area and allows people to make donations to those local good causes. Click on the link below to visit the Children North East pages on Localgiving.com
At the moment you can give to Children North East through Just Giving.com but they charge a higher fee to organisations than this new Localgiving.com one does. Another advantage to Localgiving.com is that the Community Foundations will promote it. This is great for a regional charity like us. In our experience local people are more likely to support a local charity if they know about it for the simple reason that unlike national charities we can guarantee every penny raised in the North East is spent in the North East.
